That's an interesting option but the speed with which I do the editing I do

(and I do almost zero video editing and then only personal snorkeling, birds, dogs, etc) is already extremely fast. One blink of an eye, a half blink, a quarter blink? I wouldn't discern the difference.

I evolved from film to scanning my own film into all-digital and on the way the speed of everything increased rapidly. I measure this by things like - I used to shoot jobs and with film purchase, shooting, editing, scanning and previewing with clients was generally a 7-10 day turn-around. Now I can deliver 40-50 full-frame 40MB digital images overnight and bill it the same day.
